Angelift™ Insurance & Liability
Effective Date: March 21, 2026 | Last Updated: March 21, 2026
Important: Angelift™ is a technology platform only connecting clients with independent Angel Driver subcontractors. We are not a transport provider and not an insurance provider.
At Angelift™, we facilitate connections between clients and independent subcontractors (Angel Drivers). Insurance is the responsibility of clients and subcontractors. Angel Drivers are 100% responsible for their actions, vehicle damage, and insurance claims.
If the Angelift subcontractor is at fault, the driver pays the insurance excess of up to $1,500 plus any uninsured loss.
Angelift™ is not liable for driver negligence. Insurance matters are between the subcontractor and client directly.

Liability Boundaries Before Pickup and After Drop-off
Important: Angelift™ is not liable for any incident, accident, damage, injury, or loss that occurs before client pickup or after client drop-off.
- En route to pickup: While the Angel Driver (or Guardian Angel) is travelling to the client's pickup address, any incident is a matter between the driver's insurance and the client's vehicle insurance (if the client's vehicle is involved). Angelift is not a party to these claims.
- After drop-off: After the client has been dropped off, any events including the Angel Driver's return journey or the Guardian Angel's departure are the sole responsibility of the relevant driver. Angelift's involvement ends at client drop-off.
- Guardian Angel vehicle: The Guardian Angel drives their own vehicle at all times. Any incident involving their vehicle at any point is between the Guardian Angel's own insurer and the other party's insurer.
Angelift will provide evidence and trip data (GPS logs, trip start/end times, route data, driver details) to insurance companies and/or authorities as required to assist with any investigation or claim.
Important: Angelift™ acts solely as a technology platform connecting clients with independent Angel Driver subcontractors. We do not employ drivers, own vehicles, or provide transport or insurance services. All driving, safety, vehicle handling, and insurance matters are between the client and the subcontractor. Angelift is not liable for driver conduct, negligence, or vehicle damage.
