Why two drivers, not one?

Safety and accountability. With two drivers, there's always a witness and a second professional involved. The Guardian Angel drives their own car to your drop-off location to meet you and the Angel Driver on arrival, then takes the Angel Driver back. Both are verified, background-checked professionals. How does Angelift work?

Pre-book in the app at least 2 hours before your pickup time. We match two drivers: your Angel Driver arrives at your car and drives you home, while the Guardian Angel drives separately to your drop-off location to meet you there. How fast do the drivers arrive?

Angelift is a pre-booking only service — book at least 2 hours before your pickup time. This ensures we match the best available drivers and coordinate the dual-driver team for your trip. Pre-bookings activate two hours before your scheduled pickup.

Can I pre-book for an event or party?

Yes. Pre-book for Christmas parties, dinners, concerts, or any time you know you'll need a safe ride home. Book at least 2 hours in advance. Your trip is confirmed and drivers are matched before you go out — no last-minute stress.

Where does Angelift operate?

We operate across the greater Sydney area, within a 25 km radius of 635 George Street, Haymarket. Service area includes Sydney CBD, North Sydney, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, Northern Beaches, Parramatta-side suburbs, and surrounding areas. Check the app for your exact pickup and destination.

How can I trust your drivers?

Drivers are held to a high bar: National Police Check, official NSW driving record verification, minimum 4.8-star rating with 1+ year on Uber, Didi or Ola, and a personal interview. We only accept the top tier. You also get real-time GPS tracking, pre- and post-trip vehicle photos, and security code verification before the trip starts.

Do I give a stranger my car keys?

You hand your keys to a verified professional whose ID matches the app. You're in the passenger seat for the entire trip — your car never leaves your presence. The Guardian Angel meets you at your destination, so there's always a second professional involved for accountability.

Can I track my trip in real time?

Yes. Full GPS tracking in the app so you can see both drivers and your route. You can share your trip with a contact if you like. Every trip is monitored by our operations team.

What if my car gets damaged or something goes wrong?

Angelift is a technology platform connecting you with independent subcontractors. Your vehicle is photo-documented before and after each trip; all trips are GPS-tracked. It is your responsibility to ensure your insurance covers unnominated drivers (we recommend checking with your insurer; AAMI is known to cover substitute driver use). If the driver is at fault, they are responsible for the client's insurance excess up to $1,500. Angelift assists with evidence (trip data, location, etc.) where required.

Is my car insured during the trip?

You need to ensure your own insurance covers unnominated drivers; many Australian policies (including CTP) do. We recommend confirming with your insurer before booking. AAMI is one provider that has been known to cover substitute driver services. If the Angelift driver is at fault in an incident, they cover the excess up to $1,500.

Can I add stops or change my destination?

Yes. You can add extra stops when booking. If you need to change destination during the trip, you can do so in the app; the fare is recalculated transparently.

What car types can you drive?

Our drivers can handle manual and automatic vehicles, SUVs, and most standard cars. Specify your transmission and vehicle type when booking so we match appropriately.

What about my stuff in the car?

You're in the car with your belongings for the whole trip. Nothing is left unattended — luggage, shopping, golf clubs, or anything else travels with you.

What if there's an emergency during my trip?

We have 24/7 support and an in-app SOS that can connect to emergency services. Both drivers carry contact details and every trip is monitored in real time.
